Lie on the floor. Stretch your straightened leg above you at a right angle to the floor. The other leg remains on the floor. Place a band or rope around the top of your foot as shown. This will be your starting position. Pull the expander, pulling the toe of the foot towards you. You should feel a stretch in your calves and hamstrings. Hold this position for 10-30 seconds, then repeat the stretch with the other leg.
