How to do barbell snatch from stands
Place the barbell loaded with the desired weight on the stands. Grab the bar with a wide grip. Feet directly under the hips, toes turned outward. Squat down, head up, chest forward. Shoulders over bar, elbows out. This will be your starting position. Start lifting the bar from the stands. The bar moves close to the body. Make a second effort, straightening the hips, knees, straining the calves. At the end of the movement, bring your shoulders together and fix the bar above your head. With your feet in a receiving position, slide your torso under the bar, lifting the bar above your head. The feet are shoulder-width apart with the toes turned outward. The arms are fully extended above the head. Return the bar to its original position. The bar should move parallel to the body. Head up, chest forward.
