Get into position on the Elbow Rest Machine, grasping the handles. The arms should be bent at a 90 degree angle. The legs are lowered down, the torso is straightened, the lower back is pressed against the simulator. This will be your starting position. As you exhale, lift your knees up towards your chest. After completing the movement, linger in this position. Tip: Avoid torso swaying or jerking. On an inhale, slowly return to the starting position. Complete the required number of repetitions. Variations: To make the exercise more difficult, at the peak of the movement, move the pelvis up to load the lower abdominal muscles more, or lift the straightened legs up.
