This exercise allows you to work out the correct position of the neck and torso during deep squats. Place the barbell on the front of your shoulders as shown. Stretch your arms forward. The shoulders are brought forward, the bar touches the neck. Do not round your back, just spread your shoulder blades. Perform a squat by bending your knees and spreading them to the sides. Keep your torso straight, arms and shoulders forward, bar remains in place. Squat down until the back of your thighs touches your calves. Return to starting position by straightening your legs.
