Lie on your back and bend your knees at about 60 degrees as shown. Rest your feet on the floor, and stretch your arms with crossed palms above your head. This will be your starting position. As you exhale, twist forward with your upper body. The shoulder blades should come off the floor, and the arms should remain motionless, level with the head, neck and shoulders. Stay in this position. As you inhale, slowly lower yourself to the floor, returning to the starting position. Complete the required number of repetitions. Variations: to complicate the exercise in the hands, you can take additional weights.
