Attach the bar to the lower cable of the machine. Grasp the bar already shoulder width apart, palms pointing down. Stand up straight, relax your shoulders and arms. This will be your starting position. On an inhale, lift the bar as close to your chin as possible. Hold your shoulders in the highest position for 1-2 seconds. Hint: try not to engage your biceps while performing the exercise. Only the shoulders should work. The direction of movement should be set by the elbows. Lower the bar to its original position.
