Stand up straight. Take a towel in your hands, as shown in the picture. Hands are raised up, straightened above the head. Elbows are directed inward, arms are perpendicular to the floor, palms are facing each other. Legs shoulder width apart. This will be your starting position. Your partner should take the other end of the towel. The part of the arm from the shoulder to the elbow should be next to the head and perpendicular to the floor. As you inhale, lower your forearms behind your head in a semicircular path. Keep moving until your forearms touch your biceps. Hint: the part of the arm from the shoulder to the elbow remains motionless, only the forearms perform the movement. As you exhale, return to the starting position by tensing your triceps. Complete the required number of repetitions. Attention: your partner should not make great efforts to hold the towel. As you gain experience with this stretch, the partner should increase the resistance by pulling the towel towards him. Variations: You can also do this exercise while sitting or stretching each arm in turn.
