Notes

Whole wheat flour is flour produced from whole wheat grains without removing the bran and germ. It retains all parts of the grain: the outer shell (bran), endosperm, and germ, resulting in a coarse grind, a grayish-brown color, and containing more fiber, B vitamins, and minerals than refined white flour. Baked goods made from this flour are denser and more aromatic but stay fresh longer without going stale.
