How to do lumberjack exercise
Attach a standard handle to the cable through the top pulley. Stand sideways to the machine and grasp the handle with one hand, then take a step away from the machine. The weight should be slightly lifted and your arm should continue the line of the cable and be fully extended. The legs are shoulder width apart. Reach the handle with your free hand and grab it with both hands. The arms should still be straight. In one motion, pull the handle down and sideways to the opposite knee, twisting your torso. During the movement, keep your arms and back straight, bend your legs slightly at the knees. Slowly return to the starting position. Complete the required number of repetitions. Then switch hands and do the same for the other side. Tip: Aim for maximum range of motion and keep your abs tight throughout the exercise.
