SIMPLE PROCESS
Step by step recipe
The secret is proper brewing: pour boiling water over the dried raspberry leaves, mint, and lemon slices, and let steep for 5-7 minutes. Add sweetener to taste. Serve hot or chilled with ice — the flavor develops differently but stays bright in both versions.

Prep Ingredients
Slice the lemon thinly. Gently bruise the mint and raspberry leaves to release their aroma.

Brew
Place the lemon slices, mint, and raspberry leaves in a teapot or thermos. Pour boiling water over (500-700 ml).

Steep
Let the drink steep for 5-7 minutes, covered.

Add Sweetener
Add sweetener to taste and stir until fully dissolved.

Chill (Optional)
For iced lemonade, cool the drink, transfer to a pitcher, and refrigerate. Serve over ice.

Serve
Pour hot lemonade into cups. For cold, serve in tall glasses garnished with a lemon slice and mint sprig. Enjoy!
CHEF'S TIP
Use fresh leaves as an alternative
If you don't have dried raspberry leaves, use fresh ones or increase the mint — the drink will still be aromatic.
Muddle the mint for more flavor
Gently bruise the mint with your fingers before brewing — this releases essential oils and enhances the aroma.
Add sweetener while warm
Sweetener dissolves better in hot water. If serving cold, add it before chilling.
Garnish with lemon and mint
Serve with a fresh lemon slice and a mint sprig for a beautiful presentation and extra aroma.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Add your taste
- With Honey Instead of Sweetener Add 1-2 tsp of honey — a more natural option with a gentle floral note.
- With Lime Instead of Lemon Swap lemon for lime — the flavor becomes more tropical and less tangy.
- Add Ginger Add a few thin slices of fresh ginger while brewing for a warming, spicy version.
- Add Berries Toss in a handful of fresh or frozen berries (raspberries, cranberries) for color and a hint of tartness.
