Cauliflower puree
SIMPLE PROCESS
Step by step recipe
The key is perfectly boiled cauliflower — it should be tender but not mushy. After cooking, it's blended with heavy cream and butter until smooth and silky. Serve hot with a sprinkle of fresh herbs.

Prep the Cauliflower
Break the cauliflower into florets, rinse, and place in a pot. Cover with water.

Cook the Cauliflower
Bring to a boil, season with salt, and cook for 7-10 minutes until tender. Drain well.

Blend
Transfer the cooked cauliflower to a blender, add cream and butter, and blend until smooth and creamy.

Serve
Transfer to a plate, garnish with fresh herbs or a drizzle of olive oil. Serve hot. Enjoy!
CHEF'S TIP
Choose Fresh, Firm Cauliflower
Pick a compact, firm head without brown spots. Fresh cauliflower gives the best flavor and texture.
Don't Overcook
Boil for 7-10 minutes until soft but not mushy — overcooking makes it watery and bland.
Use Full-Fat Cream and Butter
Heavy cream (20-30%) and quality butter create a luxurious, silky texture and rich flavor.
Blend Until Smooth
Use an immersion or countertop blender to achieve a completely smooth, velvety consistency.
