Peel the apple and grate the flesh coarsely. Add a sweetener, an egg, and flour to the grated apple and mix thoroughly.
Grease a heated pan with oil and fry small portions of the batter on both sides over low heat, covered, until golden brown. These pancakes go perfectly with berry jams.
