The program is saved in the diary and available in our app
Description
In high school, the author Zane had no goals for the future. He dropped out of college due to a lack of self-confidence and motivation, suffered from hypoglycemia, and ate poorly. Doctors warned that without changing his diet, he was heading toward diabetes. He needed support, and he decided that fitness and bodybuilding would become a new chapter in his life.
For several months, he studied articles on proper nutrition, supplements, and exercise technique. His motivation grew. After a year of training, he felt the strength to make another change – to leave the family business and become the first in his family to earn a higher education degree. At that time, he weighed about 54 kg.
He developed the formula "I = CAN," where I is the visible result, C is methodicalness, A is desire (strong will), N is readiness for change. He applied this formula to every obstacle, wrote it on his notes, and set it as his phone wallpaper. This helped him overcome difficulties.
As a result, he graduated with honors, spoke at commencement, received several awards, and published scientific papers. He entered graduate school and became a college instructor. His weight increased from 54 to 81 kg without an increase in body fat. He applied the same approach to his personal life, which led to a happy marriage.
His wife Amanda also embraced this concept: she graduated from college with honors, received awards, became an instructor, and published scientific papers. The author has kept his hypoglycemia under control for many years. He recommends using the "I = CAN" formula to overcome doubts and difficulties, surround yourself with good people, and pursue education.
His diet consists of about 41% of calories from carbohydrates, 36% from protein, and 23% from fat. He rotates protein sources (chicken, turkey, salmon, tuna, eggs, sometimes beef or pork) and prefers to buy local products. In the initial stage, he was a vegetarian for almost five years.
