Stand up straight with a dumbbell in one hand. Legs shoulder width apart. Stretch your arm with the dumbbell over your head. Hint: the little finger of the working hand is facing the ceiling, the palm is facing forward. The dumbbell is directly above the head. This will be your starting position. Part of the arm from the elbow should be next to the head perpendicular to the floor. The elbows are directed inward towards the body. On an inhale, lower the dumbbell back behind your head in a semi-circular path. Keep moving until your forearm touches your biceps. As you exhale, return your hand to its original position, straining the triceps. Complete the required number of repetitions. Change your hand and repeat the exercise. Variations: You can also do this exercise using the rope handle attached to the lower pulley.
