Recipe preparation

Remove the bones from the herring fillet.

Boil the eggs.

Pass all prepared ingredients through a meat grinder.

It’s better to chop the onion by hand, as grinding releases too much liquid. After chopping, finely dice the eggs as well.

Whip the herring with butter, then add the egg and onion.

Refrigerate the prepared farshmak for 30 minutes before serving.
