Beat 3 eggs, add 2/3 cup of milk, season with salt to taste, and whisk a little more. You can also add chopped ham or sausage to the mixture.

Pour the egg-milk mixture into a food-grade plastic bag, seal it, and immerse it in boiling water for 30 minutes.

The omelet turns out tender, like a soufflé. If the bag is sealed tightly, the omelet will be slightly firmer; if sealed loosely, it will be airy and porous.

Remove the cooked omelet from the bag, place it on a plate, and top with butter.
