Description

Kelsey Byers was active in high school, but in college her physical activity sharply decreased, and bad habits appeared (alcohol, late sleep, poor diet). Her weight increased from 60-61 kg to 78-80 kg. She realized that when you have a beautiful body, any outfit looks good, and she became honest with herself, setting goals.

Gradual change began: more walking to eat less, and 2-3 days of gym training per week. Weight loss took 5 years – due to not understanding the right approach. Clothing size decreased from 12-14 to 8. Then came seeing a nutritionist – proper nutrition for four months produced amazing results. Kelsey decided to compete in a bikini contest and took third place in her height category.

After the competition, she received a sponsorship offer, publications in magazines, and made the cover. Kelsey trains with weights four days a week, does cardio in the morning on an empty stomach. Rest between exercises is only 30-60 seconds to maintain intensity. Weight training lasts about an hour (no more, to avoid overtraining). Eating 5-6 times a day (every 2.5-3 hours) keeps metabolism high. Daily, 2-3 liters of mineral water are consumed before 4 PM.
