How to pump up the press: 4 training programs
The program is saved in the diary and available in our app
Description
The abdominal muscles are one of the most desired body parts for any athlete. However, countless sit-ups and crunches often only bring pain and decreased motivation, not results. The abdominal region includes several important muscles: the rectus abdominis (the coveted six-pack, flexes the spine), the transversus abdominis (deep muscle responsible for core stability), and the internal and external obliques (diagonal muscles that work during torso rotations). Abs not only provide balance and stabilize the core during weightlifting but also assist in other exercises – for example, the bench press. For a competing bodybuilder, excellent abs are necessary for a prize-winning place, as they attract attention, demonstrate a proportional physique, and create a V-taper. Achieving visible abs requires not only a comprehensive training regimen but also proper nutrition – you cannot expect results from sit-ups and leg raises alone. Developing abs requires discipline, but the result is worth it. When performing ab exercises, proper form is essential – constantly control the movement (both concentric and eccentric) to avoid "wasted" repetitions.
