Everything ingenious is simple, and this also applies to training. On chest day, it's better to push yourself to the limit in a couple of exercises than to try to do a dozen movements and fizzle out long before the finish line.
This chest workout is oversimplified, but that doesn't mean it's worse than any other five, eight, or ten exercise program. Do 3 movements with full dedication, using the suggested methods for increasing the intensity of the training, and this will be enough for you.
