Lie on your back. The legs are extended forward.
Bend one leg at the knee so that a right angle is formed between the lower leg and thigh. You can grab your thigh with your hands, as shown in the picture. This will be your starting position.
Straighten your leg straight up. Hold this position for a few seconds. Lower your leg to the starting position.
Perform 10-20 repetitions, then stretch the muscles of the other leg.
