How to do standing french barbell press
Stand up straight with a regular or EZ barbell in a pronated grip (palms facing forward). The hands are already shoulder width apart. Legs shoulder width apart. Stretch your arms with a barbell above your head. Don't spread your elbows. This will be your starting position. Part of the arm from the elbow should be next to the head perpendicular to the floor. The elbows are directed inward towards the body. On an inhale, lower the bar back behind your head in a semi-circular path. Keep moving until your forearms touch your biceps. As you exhale, return the bar to its original position, straining the triceps. Complete the required number of repetitions. Variations: You can also do this exercise using dumbbells or a rope handle attached to the lower pulley.
