Turkey with vegetables in pots
From ingredients
Recipe preparation
Marinate the diced turkey fillet (I used sea salt, a little vinegar, and ground pepper). Sear it in a hot frying pan, then set it aside on a plate. In the same pan, sauté one onion (cut into half-rings) and one carrot (cut into strips). Layer the ingredients in the pots: meat, vegetables, meat. Among the vegetables, I also used frozen bell pepper and some chopped garlic (remove the garlic germ to prevent bitterness – this is the secret).
Add about 200 grams of boiled water to that same pan, with the oil and juices left from cooking the meat and vegetables. Stir it around and pour it evenly into the pots. Add salt and pepper, then top each with a teaspoon of sour cream and some cheese. Place in an oven preheated to ~250°C (approx. 480°F).
Let it simmer for about an hour, then remove the lid for the last 15 minutes to let the cheese form a crust.
