Tighten your buttocks and back of your thighs. Extend your legs parallel to the floor so that they are in line with your hips. This will be your starting position. Raise your left leg, right leg is at the same level. Now lower your left leg down while lifting your right leg. Perform the exercise alternately lifting your legs until you complete the required number of repetitions with each leg. Control the movements of the legs throughout the entire exercise.
